Rolf Baumgartel

Mr. Baumgartel has been practicing criminal law since 1989. He's represented thousands of clients in Ohio and West Virginia. He's helped navigate charges ranging from DUI/OVI to serious felonies like murder and sexually oriented offenses. He opened his law office in Marietta, Ohio in 1996. Ever since, he has established himself as the premier criminal trial attorney in the Mid-Ohio Valley, having tried over 200 jury trials.

Mr. Baumgartel is licensed in Ohio and West Virginia. He limits his practice to traffic, criminal and juvenile cases in Ohio and West Virginia. Through numerous appearances in southeast Ohio and northwest West Virginia, he has become a familiar and respected figure in courthouses throughout the area.

Shara Baumgartel

Mrs. Baumgartel is graduate of The University of Akron School of Law and a member of the Ohio Bar Association and the Central Ohio Academy of Collaborative Divorce Professionals. She restricts her practice to family law—divorce, dissolution, legal separation, child custody, and prenuptial agreements.

She graduated with honors from the Ohio University College of Business. She has an understanding of valuations and dividing business assets in a divorce.

As a certified divorce and child custody mediator, she understands how important it is to work out a resolution to avoid a messy and expensive divorce. Not every divorce has to be a battle. Mediating and being amicable can shelter you and your children from the fallout of fighting. She has the skills required to negotiate solutions for custody, asset division, and other issues.

As a guardian ad litem in domestic relations cases, she has seen firsthand the toll that divorce and custody battles take on children. She'll guide you through the process with the goal of minimizing the negative impact of conflict on your children.
